 2007 McIntyre Merlot "Kimberly Vineyard Kimberly Vineyard is located near the entrance of Arroyo Seco Canyon, a dusty, windy spot at the foot of the Santa Lucia Mountains above the town of Greenfield. Although the site is dry, it’s not terribly hot, and the wines retain a freshness and liveliness that is often lacking in Merlot from warmer climates. We only made a small amount of this wine in 2007, just 145 cases. It was fermented in small half ton bins, with little intervention with twice daily pumpovers and the occasional punchdown.
